Booking

To Book: Use our direct booking page here BOOK A STAY   Alternatively you can email Jo with any enquiries you have at  jo@nookcottagenewquay.co.uk  Please include your Full Name, Address, Email and Contact Number if you would like to receive a booking quote. 

Fees: Cleaners fee of £50 per stay. 

Payments: Can be made at booking via Credit or Debit card. You can also pay for your booking via BACS transfer, your booking will not be confirmed until payment has been received.  An Initial payment of 20% of your total cost is required at booking with the remaining balance due 30 days before your stay. 

Security Deposit: By booking you are agreeing to Nook Cottage Security Deposit. A £200 Security Deposit is required. The Security deposit will be placed on hold 2 days before your stay start date. Your security deposit will be returned to your payment method within 3 days of the end of your stay providing  no deductions are required for losses to Nook Cottage sustained during your stay. 

Cancellations: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. There is NO additional cancellation fee.

House Rules

By accepting your booking quote you are agreeing to Nook Cottage House rules laid out below. Please read them carefully to ensure they are a good fit for you. The house rules are very  fair. They are to protect you & Nook Cottage.

Nook Cottage is fitted with a Ring Video Doorbell.

No smoking or vaping inside the cottage. Please smoke outside use the ashtrays pot provided. Do not light fires, candles or naked flames inside Nook Cottage.

No pets. If pets are found to be at the cottage you will be sent notice to leave immediately no refund will be given and a £100 deep clean charge will be applied.

No parties, gatherings or unregistered guests. If unregistered guests are found to be at the cottage you will be sent notice to leave immediately no refund will be issued and a £200 deep cleaning charge made.

Please no excessive noise, music or rowdy behaviour. Please do not disturb the neighbours. Quiet time after 11pm.

You agree to notify me of any damage or malfunction so that I can arrange repair or replace the damaged item.
I will attend Nook Cottage at a pre -agreed time to repair any issues impacting your stay or incase of an emergency.

Please turn off all no essential electrical items. Close all windows & lock the front door when leaving the property.

Nook Cottage has switches that need to stay on for your amenities to work properly these switches are clearly labelled please do not turn them off. There will be a £100 call out charge to reset & switch these back on if they cause the failure of your amenities.

The smart TV provided you will need to log in to your own App accounts to use it.

There is no EV charging facility at the cottage. Do not attempt to charge any EV from the cottage it is a breach of our insurance policy.

Smoke alarms are in each room do not tamper with them under any circumstances. Smoke alarms are checked before each check in any found tampered with will be replaced in line with Fire Safety Regulations with a charge of £100 ea.

Fire extinguishers are inspected before every check in. Only use in an emergency any found tampered with will be replaced in line with Fire Safety Regulations at a charge of £50 ea.

Emergency power failure torches are required under Fire Safety Regulations & are not to be removed except in the case of a power cut or fire. they are checked before every check in any missing or damaged torches will be charged at £50 ea

Keep the stairs exit route & doorways free from obstructions at all times.

In case of a fire vacate the building as quickly and calmly as possible through the main door. Please stand a safe distance from the building and call 999 please ensure you have access to a mobile phone during your stay. Do not re enter the building until emergency services state it safe to do so.

Do not remove items from the premises all items are  inspected before every check in with any losses being charged for

Do note that if you do not allow us to collect or process the required personal information or withdraw the consent to process the same for the required purposes, you may not be able to access or use the services for which your information was sought.
